Overview

Job Hunt Tracker (JHT) is a convenient software application for anyone seeking a new job. It is useful for keeping track of job applications. It is ideally suited for active job hunters who apply to several possibilities and need a quick and conveinent means of recording and keeping track of companies contacts, agencies, agents, meetings and events.

First Time Operation

When JHT starts after a fresh installation, the user will be asked the following:

Note! The user can switch to another supported language at anytime. A new country can be added whenever needed

How to Enter a New Job Application

To enter a new job application into JHT, it is best to follow this procedure:

Note! Alternatively, in JHT Inclusive, companies, contacts, agencies and agents can be imported from vCard (.vcf files). In JHT Free, only companies can be imported from vCard (.vcf files)

Data entry

Note! All inputs are automatically saved upon entry. No extra save command is required.

Sorting

Depending upon the currently opened tabbed page one can sort companies, contacts, agencies or agents in ascending or descending order by name. Job applications can be sorted by application date, company, agency or status. Contacts can be sorted by first or last name and by company. Agents can be sorted by first or last name or agency

Reporting

On the Jobs page, the Report button can be selected to open the Monthly Report dialog. Only in JHT Inclusive can a report be printed out.

Data Storage Possibilites (only in JHT Inclusive)

Via the Storage menu, the following is possible:

Note! By relocation and switching it is possible to utilize a network shared directory, such as OneDrive or DropBox. However, it is advised that refrainment sould be exercised in accessing the storage simultaneously from more then one instance of Job Hunt Tracker.
